'No Other Place'
This joint-solo exhibition with Ann-Marie Ryan draws its inspiration from two very different sources. One is the beautiful and haunting North Norfolk landscape. The other is the recently discovered (for us at least) music of ex Byrds frontman Gene Clark, who is now regarded as something of a musical genius.

Angela
Mellor Gallery, St Mary's Street, Ely, Cambs.
A joint-solo exhibition
by
Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan of East Anglian landscape paintings.
The gallery is a beautifully restored 17th-century building opposite
the cathedral in the historic centre of Ely. This building also
contains the studio of ceramicist Angela
Mellor,
the gallery owner, and provides a perfect setting for the contemporary
paintings and ceramics shown.
9 March to 5 April
Grapevine
Gallery
A joint-solo
exhibition by Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan based on their
month’s residency in July 2006 at the former studio of
celebrated Scottish artist, Joan Eardley, in Catterline, a tiny fishing
village near Aberdeen. The studio, The Watch House, is perched on the
clifftop at the edge of the village and is very little changed since
Eardley’s time. The exhibition will feature work derived from
this inspirational experience.
